I think what is seen here is not an accurate representation of the fan base. Most of the noise comes from a small, unhinged percentage of the people that are engaged here, which is a small subset of the overall fanbase.

Reasonable people understand where we are and what it will take to get better. Most of the people that matter (read big donors) are reasonable and understand because they have been successful in life, that things like this take time. People turned on Fu because they didn't see improvement or a plan to do things differently than what wasn't working.
